The integrated quality and environment control system has been operating in its fifth three-year cycle at our Company. As a new element, the workplace health protection and safety control system (popularly referred to as “MEBIR”) has entered its second cycle.
The date of the surveillance audit following the annual recertification audit in 2016 was 28-29 September 2016, during which – on the basis of the annexes of the certification documents – we expanded the certification according to the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and MSZ 28001 to all of our customer service offices and enforcement sites. In the course of the audit based on sampling, the Hungarian Standard Institution reported no differences in its issued audit test report.
Expected date of the next surveillance audit: September 2017.
Why is it important that our operation comply with the relevant international standards? The answer is simple: customer expectation. In NTPS Plc’s case, the definition of “customer” is quite interesting, as the Hungarian Transport Administration (HTA), which represents the State of Hungary, is our primary client, which expects clearly defined performance levels. At the same time, NTPS Plc’s services are used directly by the road users. It is an unequivocal and basic requirement by both HTA and our owner, Hungarian Development Bank, that we, as a state-owned company, comply even with the most up-to-the-minute management requirements, which are qualified by an external audit company. We pride ourselves on having stellar audit results; the related certificates can be viewed at the bottom of the page.
The primary factor of our social responsibility is a high-level operation, in terms of professional, environmental and work safety aspects alike, which also fulfills the requirement of efficiency; protects our most valued asset, our employees; and takes into consideration its indispensable operating framework, the environment.
