Our company’s integrated quality and environmental management system is now in its seventh three-year term. As a new element, the occupational safety and health management system, or commonly known as MEBIR, has entered into its fourth term.

The 2018 surveillance audit took place from 29 to 31 August 2018. During this sample-based audit, the Hungarian Standards Institution did not find any discrepancies, as it was recorded in the audit report issued by the Institution. National Toll Payment Services Plc. switched to the new ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 standards in a surveillance audit this year.

The next audit is expected in October 2019.

Why is it important for us to operate in compliance with the relevant international standards?

The answer is simple: it is customer expectation. The definition of the “customers” of NTPS Plc. is an interesting issue, as our main client is the Ministry for Innovation and Technology (ITM)—representing the State of Hungary—, which expects us to achieve clearly defined performance levels.  Moreover, the services offered by NTPS Plc. are directly used by road users. It is a clear basic requirement from both the Ministry and the owner that we, even as a state-owned company, should comply with the most up-to-date management standards, which are certified by an external auditor.
